I want to go but feel chicken as I never rode this far in winter weather before - and don't know if I've ever done 4600 feet of elevation gain in one ride (whatever that means). Though I have done flat centuries and my own metrics in my area, which may or may not have comparable elevation. Not sure. Also, I am about a 14 mph-er, so I am sure I will be riding it mostly alone and the last to finish as the Randonneurs will probably make me eat their dust. So if anyone wants to join me, I think it would be fun to try. Hopefully the weather will be unseasonably warm that day! Hopefully I will bring the Bleriot. I want to try Randonneuring, and I think it would be a great opportunity to meet some of them and get some tips to help me break into it.
