RayBan Aviators.  Can't get more classic than that.  You can get them
with just about every prescription known to man, including bifocals, in
any tint you like (or even untinted).

As for durable, I have two of them, one tinted, one clear.  I've had the
frames since the mid 1980s.  The lenses change, of course, as my
prescription has changed over the years.
