I also use clear packing tape for the rear light wire run. My fork came with wire guides (custom fork, get what you want!). As my bike is dismantled for travel, I bought the wire splitter that PJW sells, and break the rear light wire right behind the seat. The wire is wrapped around the rear brake cable, goes behind the seat above the brake, then drops down the left seatstay, where I use the clear tape. The light itself has those itty-bitty spade connectors, so I can remove it for packing.
The light is the Secula Plus. I do have braze ons to mount things to the seatstay, but the light doesn't use the standard bolt. Another posting elsewhere suggested I drill it out so it fits. Might do that, because the bolt is a teeny little thing with a nut, both of which could easily be dropped and lost. Tape is getting a little grubby at the edges, but not coming off the bike. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
