I remember when I first started considering buying certain models of Riv, I saw that my size was in 650b. I thought "Why is this guy messing with things?". I wanted 700c.
But I think both my Rivs look great with 650b, there's no toe overlap -even fendered, there are fantastic tires and wheels available now for any kind of riding you'de want, and I can go as wide or narrow as I want with tires. So I don't think I'd even want to go back to 700c anymore.
