------------------------------------------- I'm posting this for a friend who must sell due to health restrictions. He wants the Riv group to have first opportunity at it before putting on eBay. A pristine 62 cm Rambouillet, partially built-up and never ridden after being painted with Joe Bell's best-level signature finish in Bittersweet Orange and Cream. The JB paint job alone cost $850. This was an original 2nd-batch orange Rambouillet that had nothing wrong with it, it was repainted just in order to have the JB paint job. The Sunburst orange looks very much like the original orange Rambouillet color, but haven't seen it side-by-side to know if it's exact. It is sure pretty, the finish is so smooth that the decals can't be felt when rubbing your hand over them. Built up with: New: Sugino XD600 crankset 36/46 rings, no triple inner ring installed, but drilled for it so conversion to triple would be easy, though would probably require longer bottom bracket. Tange bottom bracket. Rivendell Silver downtube shifters Used (but fine shape): Ultegra: Headset FDer Standard-reach Brake Calipers (may possibly be 105's) with Kool Stop pads. DuraAce RDer (89/90 vintage) TTT Stem 44cm Nitto Noodle bars Thompson seatpost Selle San Marcos saddle White Industries Daisy hub with Mavic Cosmos rim front wheel 24 spoke Ultegra hub with 9s cassette (about 200mi on cassette) with Mavic Cosmos rear wheel 28 spoke Shimmano aero brake levers (a little scratched but functional) Own the finest Rambouillet on the block, if not the world!
