I was surprised at how many of my online friends were at this. It's like NAHBS used to be. And I met a guy a couple months ago who built up a bike just for L'Eroica. I have a vintage-enough bike, but no gears, and BMX pedals. Maybe a year is enough time to gear it up? I'd need a rear wheel...
