Wow! That was fast. It appears that the Canti-Rom will have a new home locally.
I am 99% certain, so I am calling it a Sell at this point. Thank you all who
expressed an interest.

Subject: [RBW] FS: Size 61 Canti-Romulus, built in 2006. $850

#yiv1104706249 I am selling the first Rivendell that I ever purchased new.It is
a 61 cm frame, built up in April of 2006. I purchased it on April 8,2006. It
has long been one of my favorite Riv’s, but I have not ridden it toooften in
the past few years, mainly because it still has drop bars. I muchprefer Alba’s
these days, which all my other bikes now have.  I just can’t see this frame
without theNoodles that it came with. It really is a road bike, and most of my
rides thesedays are commutes or fireroads. The RBW descriptive about this frame
was :  “The Romulus is a road frame, virtually interchangeablewith the
Rambouillet, and it rides dreamily. But if you're reasonably skillfuland have
reasonable judgement, you'll find it a delight on fire trails as well(with
appropriate tires). The cantilver brakes open up the area under thecrown, and
let's a lot of things happen there. When you pick your parts fromthis list,
we'll make sure they all add up to a smart, working bike. Anyquestions, just
ask, we're happy to answer anything. Toe clip overlap willhappen on 55cm & 57cm
frames, depending on your tire, and fenders. It's nota big deal, not worth
fretting about, and most certainly is not a design goof. But some folks can't
live with it, and if you're among 'em don't get one ofthese. SIZING: Refer to
page 76 in the catalogue, to get your PBH. Your framesize is PBH minus 25 to
27. If minus 25 lands you on a 61 and minus 27 says a59.” I have about 3800
miles on the frame and drivetrain. I don’tbaby my bikes, so it has reasonable
beausage, but no dents. Always garaged.Mechanically, I take good cars of my
bikes. However, I don’t wash and cleanthem often, and barely did a cursory
wipe-down to prep for this sale. Just notmy thing. The longest single ride I
took on this frame was an Oregoncoast ride in 2007.  I also haveridden it in
several local centuries. I am asking $850 + cost of shipping.  If you live
within 30 minutes of myhome in San Francisco (near the Golden Gate Bridge) I
will bring it to you.PayPal is OK, otherwise a cashiers check from USPS.
