Rubena is a Czech tire manufacturer, as as far as I know, the only all-European tire production company. While Schwalbe, Continental, etc. are "European" tire companies, much of their production is done in Asia and other places, while every Rubena tire is made in the Czech Republic. They've been making a push into the North American market in the past few years, and Cyclone here in Portland distributes them.
The "Flash" is, for want of a better term, their Marathon equivalent. Haven't had a pair, but know others who have and have had no complaints.
