Jay, Several years ago I rode across Maine, I entered at Orient, coming
from New Brunswick, I stayed north of rt 2 after crossing it, until
Farmington, used low traffic roads, very worthwhile. Last year I ride down
the coast after touring in the Maritimes, again worthwhile though parts of
rt 1 are busier than I liked. Both rides ended at home in central N.H.All
of  Maine is a great place to tour in my mind. Steve
