I am certainly thin.  Sounds as though my sartorial preferences may be
opposite yours, however.  I cannot stand, and do not wear skin tight
riding garments.  At least with pants and shorts I find regular fit
can chaffe.  So I prefer to wear looser pants and shorts.

I only use the MUSA on tours.  They are perfect for that.
Comfortable, pack small and well, and clean up easily.  When it is
cold I can easily wear a long legged base layer under them.  When it
is warm out, the loose fit allows plenty of ventilation.
