If it helps as a frame of reference, my wife is between 5'-4" and 5'-5", and also describes herself as having a long torso. Her PBH is 75.6" (29 3/4"). She rides a 50cm Rambouillet and feels like it fits her perfect. I'd personally put her on a 51cm, though. Slightly more than a fist-full of seatpost right now. (That bike was from the era when Riv models were offered in many more size increments. )
