I think Daniel was asking about Rivet the company, manufacturer of the saddles called Pearl and Independence, rather than about leather saddles with rivets in general. There's a review of the Rivet Independence in the current BQ. I've tried a Pearl and an Independence as part of their unique "saddle lending club" (pay $25 and you get to try one; if you like it you negotiate a price and buy it, otherwise you return it and someone else gets to try it). They didn't work for me (whereas the Berthoud Aspin does) but a friend of mine on this list tried the Indy after me and liked it. She also has a Pearl, I believe. They're similar to Sella An Atomica but they fit very differently.

I'll hazard a guess that most of us ride on leather saddles with rivets. For myself, I find them perfect for short and long rides, only problem is keeping them protected from soaking rain.
