II would disagree with this statement if it is in earnest. I don't think anyone needs me to point out that one big *raison d'**être* of Rivendell is to fill a need for bicycles not constricted by frames that don't allow for raising the handlebars to a comfortable height. Other limitations would include the inability to fit wider tires or easily accommodate fenders and racks. Self understanding may be overrated in some cases. I'm pretty sure it will not contribute much to keeping my bum comfy on 23mm tires while bent over double and bouncing along the poorly maintained roads in my neck of the woods. Never mind Zen, I've got a Clementine coming in the mail one day soon. Yay!
