Those photos are helpful, thanks. I see what you mean about the
pinstriping--it's always been there, but I think it is different on this
newer model. My 65s have three black lines very close together (middle one
slightly thicker) right down the center. It has 4 other "stripes" but these
are reflective, almost gives the fender a faceted look. The new ones look
like they are all black, no reflective. Or are they all reflective, and
that is the way they photograph?
Anyway, I will be putting some yellow reflective tape on my black 27.5
Cascadia ALX 27.5" Wide. I think I will go for a "bee" theme;^) The ALX
{aluminum} series look a tad less shiny than the polycarbonate--at least on
the tiny pictures planet bike has on the website. Might go nicely with that
charcoal Clem if ordering a 4th set doesn't send you over the edge...
The 55s are definitely too skinny for a 50mm tire, no?
Also I find once racks, bags, lights, etc are on, fenders are not *quite*
as prominent. But still.
