Thanks for the kind words. I don't baby this bike, it gets ridden almost everyday. I'm just grateful to the original owner who was able to sell me this bike. At first he had a very hard time parting with the bike. But after many phone calls and e-mails he parted with the frame, wheelset, and honjo fenders for a very good deal. After showing him the pictures of the bike and it's adventures he's happy that the bike being used for it's purposes. Interesting note about the campy bar-end shifters they were originally for a 10 speed index campy, but after some fiddling I was able to make them fiction, works like a charm. Still waiting for some miscellaneous campy parts but the bike is pretty much finished.
