shouldve been more specific. running shimano bar ends on thumbies, but all in friction mode. can i just swap thumbies to opposite/inside sides and then switch cables? i guess what im now asking is, can the intended front shifter pull enough cable to run the rear derailleur. i assume the intended rear shifter is fine working the front in friction mode.
