I have the same hub on two bikes, including my commuter, and I agree with 
you that it can't be moved by force.  I'm similarly flummoxed, and mine 
never moves on its own.  Maybe somebody monkeyed with your bike while it 
was parked?  Wanted to steal your front wheel, undid the QR, realized the 
wheel was locked and gave up.  Is that possible?  That would be an Occam's 
Razor answer.
