I don't know if these <http://www.urbanbiketech.com/product-p/pitstopper.htm> are any good in practice (been meaning to try them, alas), but they're made by Pitlock for exactly what you want to do.
A bit more elegant than Super Glue and a ball bearing, with a price to match, but still cheaper than a replacement saddle or bars.
