This may or may not be relevant, but in case it is: I swapped the 650C X 23 mm Pro Race 4s on my Riv custom gofast with 559 X 32 mm Compass Elk Pass ELs. The Michelins measured ~22 mm on my 19 outside to outside rims, the Compass ~28 mm.
The Michelins weigh just under 200 grams, the EPs average (weighed 3) 175 grams. The gear on the Michelins (46X15 fixed) is 75", that on the EPs is 76: 24.5" and 24.75" diameter respectively. *The Elk Passes are smoother, feel faster, and seem to allow me to pedal a very slightly higher gear with less effort,* measuring the last with cadence compared to effort in well known conditions. 5'10" in flat feet on a polished cement floor, 170 lb buck nekkid (and ain't *that* a horrible image). Me, I've spent close to $1K on 12 pr of Elk Passes, to stock up, and if Jan ever says that they are going to stop production, I'll buy another $1K's worth.
