Hypothetical tire situation.
Say you just fit Continental SpeedRide tires from Riv. You like the volume
but with fenders it's getting too tight for comfort.
You'll probably put up a FS post for the SpeedRides shortly as you
anticipated you had more room than you thought.
SKS fenders are installed, but you previously had VO aluminum fenders
installed, and they're just sitting around, already drilled and fit for
this bike.
You'd prefer the aluminum fenders on this bike for various reasons not
terribly important to this situation.
In your bike tire stash you have the following pairs of tires:
Panaracer Paselas - 700x32 - new-ish - actual width of 32mm
Panaracer Paselas - 700x32 - worn in, feel nicer than a new pair - actual
width of 32mm
Panaracer Paselas - 700x35 - worn in, you remember these riding really
nicely - actual width of 36mm
Resist Nomads - 700x35 - new-ish, actual width of 34mm
Compass Stampede Pass - 700x32 - used previously, actual width of you don't
know yet since you haven't installed them on a bike yet

You also have a pair of Compass Barlow Pass tires (actual 37mm) on your Riv
Redwood, but you'd rather they stay on that bike.
You'd prefer to buy Compass Bon Jon Pass tires as they'd probably be
perfect, but you are trying not to spend money on this project.

Would you pick the suppleness of the Compass tires over the added volume of
the Pasela?
Would you just try them all out and wear through them all?
Would you sell all of 'em and get Compass Bon Jon Pass'?
Would you not even ponder this situation at all 'cause all the tires are
really similar to each other?

This also might be the bike in question:
