Clayton, You can still get hit. Drivers don't need to see you to hit you. If they are texting or something and drift onto the shoulder where you are riding they can run into you. Whether they were looking at/for you or not. Even if you have no lighting/reflectivity on. Pedestrians get hit, don't they?
