Not to derail my own post but I am also considering the FSA Metropolis handlebar. Problem is that it is a 31.8 and I would need to order a special quill stem to accommodate that size. I found one such stem called a Factory Five Titan and it is built and ordered from Shanghai. Gives me a little pause to order one that far away. Nitto has now makes a quill 31.8 but I find it rather ugly.
