It seems like as a bike reaches seven years I get the urge to give it a 
face lift.  This year it was our Belinky tandem.  We love the bike but the 
paint job did not hold up well.  Someone on this list suggested Race 
Metalsmith Powder Coating in White River Junction. Thank you.  They did a 
fabulous job, although my photography in full sunlight doesn't do it 
justice.  The Race guys also replaced the CP posts with canti posts, which 
gave us plenty of room for the 26 X 1.75 Compass Slumgullion tires, which 
ride very nicely.

I did run into one unexpected problem.  They took the initiative to add a 
brake cable stop on the seat stays, but opted to put it below the rack 
eyelets, which forced my to have a very low straddle cable.  It doesn't 
seem to impair the braking any though.
