Jon,

My current Sam, 56cm, is set up with albastache bars and serves as my
almost daily commuter so it's racked and is running the same drivetrain
plus tires (soma c-lines) as the Chev. By comparing my commute
times (about 12 miles one-way) the Sam is consistently faster and feels
more nimble. The difference could be mostly attributed to the more
aggressive position so it may not be the best side by side comparison. It
is my favorite ride of the three Rivs I own. I'm hoping to acquire a
Atlantis or Hunqapillar in the new future and I'm not sure about the longer
chain stays of future models....
