Well we won't know for sure Rene... It was a challenging ride and somewhat
swift but not crazy fast we definitely took breaks and stopped for lunch in
some shade at 11:30pm. The image after the young man holding the camera
(Jake David Estes Son) and Jacquie the legend was the beginning of Eldridge
Grade off of the East Peak of Tam. At its steepest ~36% and Manny took a
picture of the surface roller bearing loose. I think that might have been
where Tony went down. Tony was a trooper and carried on and owned this
ride. The Repack beginning began at mile 21.5 what is named Cascade Canyon
Road.

So that's all I'm going to answer for now. I plan on writing a blog post
but I'm back to work and I think I have a broken finger from the previous
weekends ride so typing is a chore.

This ride was epic and I drank ~6 liters of water during the ride, it was a
hot one. Down below in Fairfax a rider with a Garmin sade it was 95ºF in
the shade. This was at roughly 3pm it wasn't much cooler up on the PM loop.

Sorry you were sick and I hope you're feeling better. There were others
that rode a quicker I think paved route to PM and hit it counterclockwise
then down repack, there are options.
