Kieran, it is indeed a long bike. The sense that the seattube is right in the center of the frame contributes to the visual, plus I think the dropbars elongate it. You're used to seeing Appas with reachback bars, which tend to shorten up the space above the toptube.
I'm really glad I popped for the extra cash instead of sticking with my mustard Clem order. They're both great bikes, but it was love at first sight when I saw that blue frame with the green-wrapped Noodles. It had my name on it.
