It specifically states : *This rack is not recommended for use with a fork that has a single mounting point in the fork crown.*I'm not sure what they mean by this as this rack is on their list as working with the LHT fork which as one mount point in the crown side. Maybe they mean the mount on the Riv being vertical as opposed to horizontal on the Surly forks. A call to Surly may be helpful.
