I have a 47cm 2nd generation with 650b X 38 Soma New Express tires. I have the velo orange hammered 650b fenders on it. It works out 90% of the time. The other 10% of the time I am digging out pine needles between the fender and the tire after I just took it through the woods.
I take this bike probably where it shouldn't be taken and it always hold up. The fork and lugs are beautiful. The frame is light and responsive. Enough braze-one for front and back racks and fenders.
