We bought this bike. My wife had her first rides on it this weekend, and it
was love at first sight and ride.

This is the most beautiful Riv ever, I think. I have owned a blue Ram for
10 years, and I have often praised its beautiful lugs to my wife, with
caveat that the Glorius has it beat, hands down. Finally, she said, OK, if
a Glorius ever comes up for sale, let's get it. So we did.

A few words about my wife's biking background: Although she and I rode
together some when we were first married (ahem, 31 years ago), she mostly
has not been a bike rider, preferring walking for her daily exercise. But
plantar fasciitis made walking painful, and the opening of the beautiful,
mostly paved, Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail in northwest Michigan made
biking a joy, so she switched to biking 18 miles a day. In each of the last
three summers, she has ridden 1000+ miles on an old Trek mountain bike with
2" slicks, which she always found comfortable and adequate.

But she was amazed at the smooth, responsive ride of the Glorius. She even
found the B67 saddle comfortable (after 3000 miles of riding heavily
cushioned saddles). And the lugs! Dreamy.

We'll be quite the Riv pair on the trail next summer.
