I built up my current 1x9 Hilsen drivetrain on the extreme cheap from various existing parts. It’s a bit of a mess (severe ghost-shifting on friction on a 9-speed cassette), and I’m ready to upgrade to make it all work better. I like both indexed and friction, so I figure I’d make the decision based on what I could get a good deal on. Sooo, does anyone have any of the following they’d be willing to part with:
1. Riv Silver downtube shifters 2. 7-speed road cassette (preferably with 30t-ish max ring) (I'd use these friction with my existing late-eighties era rear derailleur) and/or 3. 9-speed indexed Shimano downtube shifters 4. 9-speed Shimano road rear derailleur (105 or Ultegra or some such) (I'd use these indexed with my existing 9-speed ultegra cassette) Thanks!
