Hi Ian,
Those are Stampede Pass, 32mm, and nothing larger will fit - have a few mm
clearance on the chainstays. As parts came off the old frame I cleaned
them, and before they went on the new frame I polished them.
My Honjos were destroyed with the old frame - I saved all the good hardware
for later. I already had two sets of shorty fenders around. These
stainless which will fit 35mm or bigger, and some really pretty Bluemels
alloy with blue foil decal that only fit 28mm.
What they do is keep the CP brakes clean, which have a lot of places for
dirt.

Just finished up over the weekend, and made short adjustment rides around
the neighborhood yesterday.
Made my ride maiden today - both for my busted bones and my new
International. I rode 25 greenway miles. Rode my normal pace the whole way,
just a bit shorter distance than I usually ride.
My ribs did hurt when I was pedaling, and my shoulders when I got off.
But it's good for me...

Something else I used on this bike - King Cages with their stud-welded hose
clamps

I had strips of Brooks bar leather left over from two bar wraps (6 years
apart) - used them underneath the umbrella clip to secure the frame fit
pump (this worked for 6000 mi on the other frame) and underneath the King
Cage hose clamps.
