That's typically the publisher's choice.  Been seeing these things occur for
my brother's (non cycling) book, and by the time the writer's done, there's
a whooooole lotta stuff that happens which is pretty much out of that
person's control.

The only other thing I'll mention is that purchasing it directly through Riv
may make them a little more money in the sale of each book, assuming it's
going to be a Riv product.
