i finally had a chance to check out the site. i have no problem with the marketing of things as cheaper. while i found the old website to be labyrinthian, it was sort of charming. you could stumble upon secret items and it felt weird and in line with the brand. the page with staff bikes fit into this low stakes aesthetic.
this new website has way too many categories. the "full catelog" section has 32 subsections with separate sections for "parts" and "cranks""stems" etc... its like someone took the labyrinth and made every pathway front and center now, and its seems messy and overwhelmingly complicated. do we really need a "frames" and "current models" section and then also a "complete bikes" section that has a page for "frame deposit"? i say this out of love. i want new people to like the bikes as much as i do and not be confused by the website. the organizer in me is going crazy -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
