I bought the Rawlands Rack after trying a Nitto Pot luck rack.
It would not fit due to the legs that attach to the eyelet on the fork drop
out were too short to fit over a 700c38 tire with fender.
Like you I wanted a wider rack than a Mark's rack.Also Marks rack is rated
at 4.4 lbs.The Rawlands capacity is 22lbs.
Marks rack is $140 Rawlands is $80.Rawlands only comes in black.
Another rack you might like is the Pass and Stowe, capacity of 25lbs but a
bit pricey at $280. I have one on my Sam.It's a great rack.
Are you planning on carrying panniers???
