Just remember what toe in is named for..... your toes pointed inward. Since 
your toes can only be on the front of your foot and you ride facing forward, 
and your toes can only contact the bike facing inward, "toes in" is naturally 
the leading point of contact. Toes out can make no contact, so any foot contact 
would have to be "heels in". ☺
