Patrick, the bike was purchased late 2012, and that wheel and tire were whatever Riv built the bike with. The tire was "Continental" because there were no Schwalbe tires in stock.
John, I covet that baby Roscoe! You are correct: I totally deserve a Rich wheel, this is what we would tell my husband. But alas, I'm committed to whatever the shop puts on there, I guess.
