Not EXACTLY related, but the 1995 Rivendell Road (level TT. Not sloped like the 
Road Std) that used to get questions, "How old is that bike?" To which I 
answered, "It's not old. It's just made in a older style.", now IS old. It's 22 
years old and has many thousands of miles on it on mostly chip seal and rural 
roads. And other than fresh paint a few years ago, everything is still good 
just like when Waterford made it. Steel IS real and it does do well for a long 
time.
