I have the leather washers, thank you for offering.

It's weird. With the front wheel installed, if I manipulate the fender, it 
definitely creaks.

But I put the bike in the stand, and removed the front wheel. No more creek.

Could compressing the fork by the skewer somehow make the fender creek? If 
it matters, it's a dynamo hub so the skewer is tightened via allen bolt, 
not clamp.
