RBW-lister Tim Kirch came through town after riding his Hilsen from KS
City, KS, on his way to San Francisco. We had beer and dinner last night
and a nice ride today, a breezy but sunny and temperate spring day, just an
out/south and back/north on the RG paved trail. Wonderfully, for such a
nice day, the trail was not packed with riders, skateboarders, inline
skaters, and large families with dogs on long leashes.

We meant to ride the Tramway hill but I woke up feeling somewhat beat,
probably from too aggressive climbing and wind-pushing yesterday in too
high a fixed gear, so we settled on the perfectly flat trail. Very nice.
Thanks, Tim, and Godspeed.

I charge Tim to post about his ride from KS City, particularly about the
Clayton, NM to Las Vegas, NM leg.
