Bill - how many rivendell's do you own now?!?! Can I have a couple ;)

I don't get the appeal of the upright mountain mixte. I guess it doesn't
have to be upright, but they usually seem to be setup w/ albatross bars. To
be honest though, I don't see the appeal of upright bars for anything other
than a bike used to go a few miles here and there for commuting/errands/all
rounder type stuff. Anything else (long road rides, trail rides, mixed
rides, etc) I want something more aggressive (drops/albastache/riser/etc).
What's the appeal of an upright mountain mixte? Is it just to have
something different? Is it better/worse when things get real on the trails?
I'm sure there's a lot of opinions here ;)
