I'm looking for a recommendation for a decent quality, inexpensive (<$40), large platform pedal for my Sam Hillborne.
I currently run Shimano XT SPD's on my Sam Hillborne but want platform pedals as I'm planning to do some rides along the C&O canal and fishing the Potomac. For this, I'd like to wear my Keen sandals for biking and fishing. Now, Keens are known for being quite wide, and at size 12 shoes, I'm taking that to a bit of an extreme. Hence the size of the platforms being wide enough for my shoes is the most important criteria. Smaller, cheap platforms won't work as it always feels like the outside of my feet are unsupported.
