The only potential issue could be cutting struts to size, which isn't hard but requires a hacksaw. That part also may be unnecessary on your bike. Otherwise, it's about the most straightforward thing you can do to a bike, especially if you watch the riv installation video. If you don't have some washers or spacers, call riv and they'll throw some in with your purchase.
