FWIW, the Planet Bike Cascadia fenders come in 60 or 65 mm and in your choice of black or black. I have them on my Matthews, tho' God willing I'll eventually swap them for aluminum ones, simply for looks.
On my 2003 custom Road, I rather neatly indented the 45 mm fender at the crown/legs junctions to clear fork, of course, but also to clear the front caliper. There were threads about doing this denting neatly last year or '15, IIRC.
