I think we live in a time where many other companies are now making gravel/tour/adventurey bikes. Competetion in that niche is high, as is the rate of shiny new things being shown to people. I hear you on the sluggish feel. I sometimes feel that on my hunqapillar. Then I load it up, or take it off road, or ride without people to compare myself to, and it feels perfect. I think it was made for those scenarios.
