I asked Jan off-list about molds, and he confirmed that Compass does in
fact own the molds for their tires. He went on to add that Pacenti sold
their molds to Panaracer when they stopped selling tires, which accounts
for the name molded into the sidewall of a Panaracer-branded tire.
