When my brother-in-law, Ian, lived in L.A., Calif. for a number of years, I flew out to ride with him and his great bunch of buddies. (And visit my sister, too, of course)!
One of those I enjoyed meeting was Doug P. who posts here. (I've been preoccupied lately and have not been able to visit the Riv. list for a while). Last week I was finishing up a Pittsburgh-to-Cumberland, MD trip on the GAP with 5 friends. On the last day, Wed. Oct. 25, I passed a solo rider on what I was sure was a Rivendell, headed in the direction of Pittsburgh. The guy looked familiar, but it took me about 10 minutes to connect the face with (quite possibly) Doug P. on his Atlantis. Am I correct Doug? If so, let me know how you liked the Great Allegheny Passage. (Despite hard rain all day on Monday)! If it was you, I am miffed that I was not quicker recognizing you!
