It’s kinda funny that when I first discovered Riv it was while I was in the process of “Rivifying” my old rigid MTB, which was my only bike at the time and no longer comfortable, but before I even knew what it really meant to Rivify an old frame. At the time they were clearing out the remaining Simpleones and I recall being very tempted by them but I had reservations about the cost and ordering anything sight unseen. I was also still completely unsure about what I really wanted or needed from my bike in both utility and fit. Years later I’ve come full circle to realize this is the exact kind of biking I now seem to prefer for most of my riding.
