Bill Lindsay posted some advice on this in a different thread, and I thought it was very wise. I’ll try to find it when I’m on not on mobile. Keep the Sam for now, and build it up with some light components. See how you like it, and if you’re not a fan, get the Roadini and port the parts over.
If you are looking for a faster bike, I’d prioritize some nice wheels. HED Belgiums are great.
