I use my formal first name and first initial of my last. These are real. Then I sign with my more informal, what I go by of "Bill" and always say where I actually reside in Westchester, NY. That is the county that I live in. If someone really wanted to find me or mess with me they would have to figure out my last name and town/address. And then what a bust it would be, they would be so disappointed...
