Interesting; not sure I'd have noticed that. On a concurrent Frank Jones thread, Grant wrote that internally they call the Jones dropout the "alligator dropout." I didn't understand that when I read it, but I read it 3 minutes ago and then saw this picture and it was the first thing I noticed. I get it now.
